How does Mystery Shopping work?

Mystery Shopping uses trained assessors to monitor the processes and procedures in the delivery of a service. The final reports that are sent to assessed sites help to motivate the staff to excel in all areas of customer service.

Prior to each assessment assessors are sent work packs containing a detailed brief for the visit or telephone call scenario they need to follow. The pack also contains a questionnaire which is set up in conjunction with the client. Once assessors have studied their notes the mystery shopping exercise can be carried out by the assessor. When questionnaires have been completed data is then entered into Spectre's designated web space.

The results of the Mystery Shopping visits are checked for accuracy and controlled prior to being processed and despatched back to the site or the client.
